Team Signature, Inc. Enjoys Another Jay Fund Gala

Members of Team Signature, Inc. recently attended a gala hosted by the Tom Coughlin Jay Fund. The firm's President discussed the event and how giving back to good causes leads to a stronger team.

The Tom Coughlin Jay Fund recently hosted its 2019 Champions for Children Gala. Kenneth Weinraub, the President of Signature, Inc., explained that team members were honored to attend this event once again. The Jay Fund raises money for families fighting childhood cancer in northeast Florida and the New York/New Jersey areas, where Coach Coughlin built his legacy in the football world. Weinraub noted that the firm’s associates are proud to help Coughlin expand his philanthropic efforts.

Founded in 1996, the Jay Fund has provided millions of dollars in grants for families who need help paying for life-saving treatments. The organization also arranges all kinds of fun events for kids fighting cancer, including football games with their families. These memorable days lift spirits and lend some extra positivity to each family’s unique fight against the disease.

The annual Jay Fund gala honors patients, philanthropists, and celebrities who are committed to ending childhood cancer. There are also chances to bid on sports memorabilia, unique travel events, and other exciting items. Weinraub added that Signature, Inc. team members are already looking forward to next year’s gala.

Signature, Inc.’s President on the Many Benefits of Team Giving

Supporting good causes as a team is a great idea for many reasons, including the rewarding feeling that comes with doing so. Helping the Jay Fund is especially meaningful for Weinraub because his brother has dealt with the challenges of muscular dystrophy. The firm’s President, therefore, understands just how much it means for families to receive the kind of support the Jay Fund provides.

Weinraub also explained that giving back to good causes in the community puts team members in contact with all kinds of local leaders and business people. Meeting so many like-minded people can lead to new opportunities for associates and Signature, Inc. as a whole. For business projects and further giveback pursuits, the connections made during social impact events tend to be fruitful.

Engagement takes a jump after every team giveback event as well, according to the President. Making a difference in people’s lives is a great way to enhance gratitude. Weinraub explained that team members have greater appreciation for the good things in their lives and are more inspired to achieve ambitious goals after they take time to support a worthy cause.
